Scott McClellan tells Today show Bush authorized Libby to leak Plame’s identity

About 3 minutes into his video interview on the Today show, Scott McClellan tells Meredith Viera that President Bush admitted to him, on Air Force One, that he had authorized Scooter Libby to leak Valerie Plame’s identity as a CIA operative. While Scott McClellan, as Press Secretary, was a professional liar, this is a pretty striking charge. His comments about Rove’s involvement in the leak are also revealing.
